Fiber... Oh, let me count the ways!
I don't know what it is, but there is just something special about fiber. Maybe it is the basic primal instinct that comes with the most ancient of mediums. I discovered felting on a family vacation. Never one to sit quietly, I needed a simple project to keep my hands busy. I discovered a small needle felting kit in a craft store. I was delighted to find that continually poking a wad of wool with a barbed needle was a wonderful way to vent frustrations. When I returned home, I played around with wet felting. Now, not only were my normally stained hands squeaky clean, I had found a new passion. Add a few beads and I was in love!
