"GreenWear" wearable art

Wearable art is something special.  It's not for the bashful or faint of heart.   To wear art is to demand attention.  You will be noticed.  You are making a distinct statement.  You refuse to follow fads in fashion.  You are your own person.

To wear re-purposed clothing also gives a bold statement about the world we exist in.  It is to eschew sweat shops and child labor.  It's the refusal to cut down a tree to make mere toothpicks.   It's to use materials that already exist, without impacting our environment to make new.  And to use charity thrift stores as our source, we are supporting those in need.

In short:  fashion need not be boring nor soulless.

This sweet baby hat contains the remnants of no less than 3 sweaters.

A uniquely patriotic piece.  This apron uses both new and vintage ties, along with special thrift store finds:  a US Air Force Senior Airman insignia and an Air Force Association necktie!
